Customer Feedback for My Medical Assistant®

An excellent tool, especially for people with multiple doctors and health issues.
Karla W, McClusky ND

As we have moved around a lot, one of these would have made my life so much easier. In moves you tend to misplace paperwork and have to search and search—sometimes to no avail. Right now I am searching high and low for doctors’ reports from another state from 12 years ago. I am clueless! If I had My Medical Assistant® it would all be there!
Nancy P, Tucson AZ

I have been a product tester for several years. This is the first product (I) can whole heartedly recommend and rate excellent. I am an RN and a written history related to health problems is necessary for a physician or healthcare provider to be able to accurately diagnose and prescribe treatment.
Marion D, Feura Bush, NY

A necessity in today’s world of business medicine, especially for those who move or change physicians because of insurance. I wish I had had one to record prescriptions. When I moved, my former doctor only sent a few years records—not all.
Yvonne G, Manchester

As a critical nurse in ICU, these would be invaluable if every single patient would have them with them on admission to the hospital—everything I want to know and that the doctor needs to know is in ONE place, whether the patient can speak for himself or has any family with him.
Bettina M, Charleston, MO

Because of a previous illness where I was unable to give medical information, my daughter from out of state had to be the historian and provide information from my computer. If I had the medical assistant, it would have made things much easier.
Sadie R, Baton Route, LA

Today we need to be in control of our health and maintain good records not leaving it up to some doctor’s office that appear to be rude and callous—we need to take charge of our health and well being!
Joan M. Denver, CO

I have had My Medical Assistant for two years and wonder how I got along without it. We live in Florida for seven months and in Pennsylvania for five (months). Recently I have had a bout with hives requiring seven emergency room visits and a change of meds each time. I saw an internal medicine doctor, dermatologist and allergist. Each time I took “My Book” along and I had all the answers for them. When we returned home, I had all the information for my Pennsylvania doctors right at my finger tips. Thanks so much for this great organizer of health care. As complicated as health care is today, everyone certainly needs one, especially since you are required to direct your own health care today.

“Living in a hurricane-prone area makes you aware of the need to have an emergency kit prepared and your important documents readily available; especially after witnessing the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. The personal medical information organized by My Medical Assistant® enables you to have your medical history or that of your family immediate at hand.”
Melissa St.C, Health Educator - Jacksonville, NC

“I would like to express appreciation for the outstanding publication My Medical Assistant®. It is so well thought out for needed information to be passed down through the family, especially in any medical emergency or used during routine visits to the doctors. The important step is having it readily available for each member of the family. I think this would make a wonderful service project for PTAs to make available for the parents of their community. It could be a service project or to help raise funds for their yearly projects."
Roseline T., past state PTA president – California

“I never leave home without it. Be it to a doctor’s appointment or a trip out of town, My Medical Assistant® is my constant companion. If I don't write it down, I forget it.”
Merriel B., Flemington, NJ

“It is important for health care professionals to see a complete medical history and for patients to be able to track their history and progress. It is so easy to forget things, and medical issues can change each week! This book can help to keep the record ‘straight’.”
Helen Evrard, MD, Allergy and Asthma Care of Lewisburg, PA

My Medical Assistant® is a valuable resource for my adult son with special needs. It goes with us to all medical related visits, and was especially important during recent hospitalizations. This centralized record has the information necessary for the various professionals involved in his life. It not only benefits me; but, also anyone who many need information if I am unavailable. My only regret is I did not have it from birth.”
Barbara E, The Arc of Lycoming County, President, Muncy, PA

“After having six major surgeries in six years, I received My Medical Assistant® as a gift. What a help it has been! I received it after the third surgery so I had a whole lot of catching up to do, but that project wasn’t even difficult as each page goes step by step to what the doctors and hospitals need and request. I carried the “Assistant” to the pre-surgical appointments for surgeries 4, 5, and 6 and basically handed it to the nurses. I had all the answers wrapped in a binder. Keeping My Medical Assistant® updated after each doctor and hospital visit is the key. I hope to have no other surgeries, but if it deems necessary, I’m prepared.”
Kathy B, Dental Assistant, Hughesville, PA

In today’s electronic world, it is nice to know that there is still something out there that can be put down on paper and present at any time. I learned about this amazing personal organizer through the Montel Williams Show. I got real interested in the book due to my granddaughter having some health problems. The versatility of the contents that is presented gives you very accurate facts and details to keep all of the medical history. This is especially helpful in the event you are away from your primary care physician and unable to contact them to retrieve your medical history. A new doctor may be able to make a better diagnosis with more accurate information by having your My Medical Assistant® readily available. I have given the book to every member of my family and I’m glad I did this.

"Thanks SOOO much for the fantastic Medical Information Book!!! I didn't quite know what it was when my brother, David, gave it to me. When I skimmed through it I thought it would be the best gift ever for a new parent, especially when a child has a lot of medical problems as my son does. I only wish that I had your book years ago to fill in all the piles of information as it was happening. I absolutely love it and think it's a necessity which will make my life easier. Thanks again for your great book. It will be a task to fill most of it in, but once it's done, life will be far less complicated!

Donna,
We want to thank you for your participating in Shop Vac's 2005 Health Fair. We had an estimated 222 employees attend and received great reviews. With your help, we were able to make this year's health fair a successful one. We really hope to see you next year!

Donna,
I've sent the mini book to Janet Bain, health director at Reader's Digest. That, I believe, is the best place for it at the moment.
Blessings, Kay Yurcak

Dear Mrs. McCaslin,
You made my day with your compliment, and I enjoyed our little visit. I am pleased with My Medical Assistant® and will put it to use right away. Enclosed is the article for the "Evolvement" magazine published by the Iowa Heritage Agency on Aging. I hope you have a good response from Iowa -- we certainly have plenty of elderly here.
